Nigerian street hop singer Azeez Adeshina Fashola popularly known in music circles as Naira Marley has declared his support for the second term bid of the incumbent Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The ‘Ayewada’ crooner took to his Instagram page in a live video on Wednesday March 15, 2023, to declare his support for Governor Sanwo-Olu ahead of the gubernatorial elections.

Naira Marley noted in the video that he is not for the All Progressives Congress, I’m not (for the) Peoples Democratic Party, I’m not (for the) Labour Party but he feels Sanwo-Olu is the right man for the job.
“I’m not (for the) All Progressives Congress, I’m not (for the) Peoples Democratic Party, I’m not (for the) Labour Party…but where Lagos is going right now, we don’t need to start testing at all. I think Sanwo-Olu is the right person for the job. This is not a paid promo or nothing. He has achieved a lot, he also has experience,” he said.
