The Afropop production by The Abe Effect features instruments such as the piano, long drums, guitars, Marimba, Cello, electric violin, & the Conga; it draws inspiration from Amapiano & various niche Afro genres.

The song was recorded in the midlands of England, UK, with the production and additional vocals done in Lagos, Nigeria & the engineering concluded in Nairobi, Kenya.
Sober is written by Bella Alubo and co-written/executive produced by Elliot Osagie the Chairman of Benin City Ent., where Bella is currently signed.
