Forbes, a global media company, focusing on business, investing, technology, entrepreneurship, leadership, and lifestyle has officially declared singer Rihanna a billionaire.
The declaration by Forbes that Rihanna, born Robyn Fenty, is now a billionaire also makes her the wealthiest female musician in the world and she now joins the ranks of Oprah Winfrey as one of the richest entertainers in the globe.
According to Forbes, Rihanna is now worth $1.7 billion (£1.2 billion), primarily thanks to the value of her industry-shaking cosmetics brand Fenty Beauty, which is estimated to be worth $1.4 billion.

The singer has also earned the rest of her fortune from her lingerie company, Savage x Fenty, which is reportedly valued at $270m (£193m), and from her earnings as a musician and actor.
Fenty Beauty was reportedly racking in $550 million during its first calendar year in 2018, beating out other celebrity lines like Kylie Jenner’s Kylie Cosmetics and Kim Kardashian West’s KKW Beauty.
Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty line has also proven to be a success, raising $115 million in funding this past February at a $1 billion valuation.
