An Australian a government minister has informed that popular American rapper Kanye West may be banned from traveling to Australia over his anti-Semitic remarks.

The Minister for Education Jason Clare who made the comments in a statement on Wednesday said that Kanye West, may not be suitable for an Australian visa because of his history of anti-Semitic remarks.

Jason Clare who condemned Kanye’s “awful” anti-Semitic comments involving Hitler and the Holocaust, said that others who had made similar statements had been denied visas.

“People like that who’ve applied for visas to get into Australia in the past have been rejected,” Clare said in an interview on Channel Nine. “I expect that if he does apply he would have to go through the same process and answer the same questions that they did.”

Kanye West is expected to embark on a long trip to Australia with his newly married wife Bianca Censori to meet up with his new in-laws in person.

A report by the Herald Sun on Sunday revealed that Kanye West, who was once married to Kim Kardashian, is expected to travel to Melbourne to meet with the family of Bianca, (the Aussie Yeezy designer).
