Labour Party’s Olumide Oworu has reacted after he and his team were attacked by thugs of the opposition party while they were campaigning in the Surulere axis of Lagos State.
The budding politician who is campaigning to take over Surulere constituency 1 from APC’s Desmond Elliot, in Lagos State House of Assembly had taken to his Twitter account to report the attack.

According to Olumide Oworu, the attack which occurred unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, which left one of his members injured has been promptly reported to Iponri Police Station.
He also told those who cared to listen that he is not deterred by the attack as he is more committed to see his campaign through Adeniran Ogunsanya, Iponri Housing Estate, Eric Moore, Yaba, Ojuelegba, Shitta, Ogunlana Drive, Igabaja, Stadium, Akinhanmi, Cole and other Wards in Surulere Constituency 1.
