Hollywood actors Olivia Hussey and Leonard Whiting have both filed a lawsuit against Paramount Pictures which they accuse of s3xual harassment and fraud on 1968’s Romeo and Juliet.

The pair filed a lawsuit at Santa Monica Superior Court in California claiming director Franco Zeffirelli forced them to appear nude in the 60s classic Romeo and Juliet when they were teens.

Olivia Hussey and Leonard Whiting are both suing Paramount for $500 million ( £414,236,548.15) over a nude scene they filmed when they were only 15 and 16 years old.

In a statement, business manager Tony Marinozzi who represents the actors said: “What they were told and what went on were two different things.

“They trusted Franco. At 16, as actors, they took his lead that he would not violate that trust they had.

“Franco was their friend, and frankly, at 16, what do they do? There are no options. There was no #MeToo,” he added.
