Seun Kuti, scion of late Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti has taken to social media to slam critics of former President Muhammadu Buhari for accepting national awards.

The controversial singer in a post on his Instagram page expressed his strong disapproval towards critics of the Buhari administration who willingly accepted national awards.

Seun Kuti who firmly believes that Buhari’s administration is among the worst the country has ever witnessed in Nigeria wondered why none of the award recipients rejected the awards on principle.

“Half of the people criticising this government as the worst thing ever deh go collect award for Abuja from the same government? No one will reject it on principle? Or Buhari don legit? Make una tell me o.”
