The Ogun State Police Command has vowed to prosecute controversial musician, Habeeb Okikiola popularly known in music circles as Portable for insulting officers carrying out their legal duty.

The force spokesperson, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, confirmed this in a statement on Wednesday after Portable allegedly exhibited irrational behaviour and hurled insults at officers on legal duty.

The ‘Zazu’ crooner had on Tuesday, March 29, 2023, in a viral video on social media, resisted arrest by some police officers that invaded his bar in Ogun State.

According to Adejobi, Portable’s action was criminal and punishable by the criminal laws of Nigeria.
