The pair of Hollywood star actors Will Smith and Martin Lawrence have both announced on social media that they will officially reunite for the fourth ‘Bad Boys’ movie sequel.

Sony Pictures has also confirmed that the untitled sequel which is in its early pre-production stage will have Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah (“Ms. Marvel,” “Rebel”) both returning to direct from a script by screenwriter, Chris Bremner.

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence announced that the upcoming movie was officially charging ahead by releasing a reunion video on social media with the caption, “IT’S ABOUT THAT TIME!”

In a post on Instagram, while arriving at Lawrence’s door, the duo (Will and Lawrence) declare that the fourth film is officially on the way. “It’s about that time!” Lawrence yells.

“Bad boys for life baby,” Smith chimes in, calling out the duo’s catchphrase and reinforcing the “For life,” as they comically acknowledge that the third film’s title effectively wasted the pun they could’ve used for the upcoming fourth movie. “We shouldn’t have called it that though,” Smith quips.

During the clip, Smith joked that they shouldn’t have called the third movie ‘Bad Boys for Life’, because it would’ve worked better for this film as a play on words with the number four.

He explained: “We shouldn’t have called it that, though.

“The three was the ‘e’. “But this is ‘Bad Boys 4’. It’s official!”
