A 45-year-old man identified as Kayode Adeyanju, of Redeemed Church, Tinubu Estate, Ibeshe, Ikorodu, Lagos State, is cooling his heels in police net for defiling his 14-year-old biological daughter.
The arrest of the suspect was confirmed in a statement issued on Monday by CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi who said that the suspect was arrested operatives attached to Ipakodo Division, Ikorodu, after the victim personally reported the case at Ipakodo Police Station, Ikorodu on the 7th June, 2021.

CSP Adejobi also noted that the commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Hakeem Odumosu, has condemned the act and ordered that the case be transferred to the Gender Unit of the Command for further investigation.
In a related development, police operatives attached to Morogbo Division of Lagos State on Sunday, June 13 at about 10am, who were acting on a tip off from the management of House 2 Hotel, Igbekele Morogbo, Lagos State, arrested seven suspected cultists when they were holding.
