Popular American singer, songwriter, and television personality Kate Perry has explained why turning down British singer Billie Eilish is the biggest mistake of her career.
Kate Perry who is known for her influence on modern pop music and her campy style said that she decided not to work with Billie Eilish after feeling unimpressed about the songstress’ vocals.
The singer who opened up during a Q&A at a private event for Los Angeles based station KIIS-FM, said that she was told by one of her friends to check Billie out but Katy was less than impressed at the time.

She told the audience that her friend’s email read: “Hey, check out this new artist. I’d really like us to work with her because she was working with me for Unsub [Records].”
“It was a song called Ocean Eyes, and it was just a blonde girl, and I was like, ‘Meh, boring,'” she said.
“Big mistake, huge mistake,” she added.
She then joked, “Don’t let this hit the internet.”
