Popular Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger has revealed how he was forced to eventually make peace with his fellow colleague and fierce contemporary Sylvester Stallone.

Recall that Stallone, who opened up during an interview with Forbes on why he and Arnold Schwarzenegger did not see eye-to-eye in the 1980’s despite being contemporaries said that they were both sworn enemies back in the day when the action genre was first taking off.

He also added that they both “really disliked each other” at the time and that their competition was “unhealthy” but thankfully, they are now “great friends”.

However, Arnold Schwarzenegger is said to have made peace with his former enemy and rival Sylvester Stallone because of an esteemed Hollywood lawyer Jake Bloom who passed on recently.

Speaking at the service on Thursday, October 19, Schwarzenegger revealed that the late lawyer helped him and his rival Stallone reconcile when he brought them into the Planet Hollywood deal way back in 1991.

Schwarzenegger revealed that Jake (who worked for the likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Johnny Depp, Bruce Willis, Sylvester Stallone, and Jackie Chan) convinced him that it would be better for business if Sylvester did come in on the project.
