Nollywood actor Frederick Leonard has taken to social media to react after officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arrested an impostor who scammed a woman of N104 million using his name.
Recall that the EFCC had announced in a statement that it had arrested a suspect identified as Kelvin Aisosa Orhue who scammed a woman of N104m using the actor’s name.
The EFCC noted in the statement that it has successfully arrested, arraigned and secured the conviction of one Kelvin who pleaded guilty when charges were read to him.
In his reaction to the arrest of the suspect via his Facebook page, Frederick Leonard wondered why some women would allow them to be swindled by people with unverified accounts.
