Marvel star Jeremy Renner has spoken for the first time from his hospital bed after he suffered a freak snow plough accident which left him requiring emergency treatment.
The 51-year-old was reportedly plowing both his own and his neighbor’s driveway when the accident happened leaving him with blunt chest trauma and orthopaedic injuries.
The actor was airlifted to hospital on New Year’s Day where he underwent surgery before being admitted to intensive care, and remains there in critical but stable condition.
Jeremy Renner has now reached out to his fans after the incident as he posted an Instagram selfie from his hospital bed on Tuesday night (January 3) thanking everyone for their support.
“Thank you all for your kind words. I’m too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all,” he wrote.
