Nollywood actress, Toyin Haastrup has said that she would have gotten married or become a movie star if she hadn’t relocated to the United States over ten years ago.

The actress revealed this while narrating the sacrifices she has made as a woman adding that she lost her longtime relationship as a result of the relocation.

“In my journey in life, I don’t regret anything. If whatever I planned doesn’t come out as I planned I learn from it. In other words, I don’t regret it. I always move to the next phase from lessons learned. The sacrifice I’ve made so far as a woman and as an actress is that if I hadn’t left Nigeria for the U.S, I would have gotten married or become a popular star. And the biggest sacrifice is losing my longtime relationship as a result of my relocation,” she said.

She then revealed that she’s currently working on two movies, ‘Osanle,’ and ‘Weyinwo’ scheduled for release.
