Alec Baldwin demands dismissal of lawsuit filed by Halyna Hutchins’ family

Popular Hollywood Alec Baldwin has demanded the immediate dismissal of a lawsuit filed by the family of late cinematographer Halyna Hutchins who died on the set of the movie titled ‘RUST’.

The thespian in court documents filed on Thursday called for the lawsuit to be dismissed on account of its mission to ‘obtain compensation’ in the aftermath of Hutchins’s death in October 2021.

According to NBC, he said of the motion filed by Olga Solovey, Anatolii Androsovych, and Svetlana Zemko in the document: ‘‘The loss of a daughter and sister is undoubtedly painful in any circumstance.

‘‘Yet Plaintiffs – who had been distanced from Halyna physically, financially, and emotionally for years before her death – have no viable cause of action against Defendants. This action is especially misguided’’.

Reports say the family of the late cinematographer submitted the lawsuit in February after she was killed on set of the film Rust during filming near Santa Fe, New Mexico.
