Controversial Oscar winning Hollywood actor and filmmaker Sean Penn is currently in Ukraine filming a documentary on Russia’s invasion of their neighbours.
The thespian who previously visited Ukraine in November 2021 to do his research for the film is back in the country to document the carnage of the ongoing Russian invasion.

A report by Variety reveals that Penn whose visits with the Ukrainian military were documented by the Ukrainian joint forces operation was also was present at a press briefing by the Ukrainian government in Kyiv which was speaking about the ongoing crisis.
Penn has also confirmed that the filming of the documentary on the war which has been described as one of the worst conflicts since the second world war is well underway.
