Nigerian comedian AY Makun known professionally as AY has denied a claim made by fellow comedian Julius Agwu that he once hijacked an Easter Sunday show date from his colleague.
Recall that Julius Agwu had in the past said that he once called AY to ask for a change in date for his annual Easter Sunday comedy show because it conflicted with his own event, Laugh for Christ’s Sake, on the same day.

Julius Agwu who made the revelation during a radio interview with Naija Info 102.7fm said that he called AY to change the date of his show but he refused and hung up on him.
AY has now responded to the claim made by Julius Agwu in a post on social media shared on Wednesday, April 19, by providing evidence to refute his claims that he stole the Easter Sunday date from him.

The comedian wrote thus on his Instagram page; “The truth remains the only ultimate power to downplay all the lies in a place where the INTERNET NEVER FORGETS. Dear senior colleague Julius Agwu, my question is, how is it even possible to lay claims to the fact that I took over your Easter Sunday date with the following verifiable facts..
