The pair of Nollywood actress Bisola Aiyeola and popular Ghanaian actor Adjetey Anang have both been announced as hosts for 2023 AMVCA nominees announcement.
This was made known in a statement issued on Thursday by Dr. Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of Content and West African Channels at MultiChoice Nigeria.

According to Dr Tejumola, the actor’s (Bisola Aiyeola and Adjetey Anang) will both announce all categories during the event except the MNET original category which will be presented by two child actors, Jasmine Olarotimi and Nifemi Lawal.
He said; “We are happy to unveil the nominees for the 9th edition of the prestigious Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards. This year, we saw a 40% increase in the number of entries received and hundreds of hours have gone into painstakingly reviewing each of them to arrive at our nominees.

‘‘Each of the nominees for this year’s award is a reflection of the abundant talent our continent boasts of, and we can’t wait to celebrate them.”
The 9th edition will feature the return of the Best Online Social Content Creator category, the Best Africa Magic Original Drama Series, and the Best Africa Magic Original Comedy Series. Making a debut would be two new categories which are the Best Original Telenovela and Best Unscripted Original.
