Popular American singer Brandy Norwood better known as Brandy in music circles has been sued by her former housekeeper who is alleging age discrimination and wrongful termination.

The former housekeeper identified as Elizabeth Juarez claimed in her suit that Bandy fired her once she got too old despite working for the singer for 20-years.

Juarez who was hired by the “Vocal Bible” in September 2002 and was paid $125 a day to cook, clean, and do the laundry, is suing her for allegedly not wanting “an older employee.”

She alleged that the wrongful termination and loss of wages caused her to “suffer, and continue to suffer, from humiliation, anxiety, severe emotional distress, worry, fear.”

The former housekeeper has now filed a claim under the California Fair Employment and Housing Act seeking damages of over $250,000.
