Talented Nigerian alternative singer Olawale Ashimi, popularly known in music circles as Brymo, has tendered a second apology over his controversial anti-Igbo comments.
Brymo had tendered an initial apology following the barrage of criticism, heat and backlash from Nigerians over his anti-igbo remarks.
The singer in his initial apology noted that he would never insult the Igbo tribe, and apologized to those he might have offended during this period.

“I didn’t insult the tribe (Igbos), I will not do that. I apologize to any one who is saddened by such a tweet. I was trying to weigh in on very important matters,” he said.
Brymo has now tendered a second apology in a post on his Twitter page where he apologised over his anti-Igbo comments and also asked for forgiveness over his remarks.
‘‘Forgive my assertions that came across as bigoted spewings against the Igbo tribe, I didn’t mean to do harm, I am sorry!!’’
