Nigerian music stars including; Burna Boy, Wizkid, Tems, Femi Kuti and his son, Made Kuti have all been nominated for the forthcoming 64th Grammy Awards ceremony after the Academy announced nominations for each of the 86 categories for the music awards ceremony.
‘Joro’ crooner, Wizkid who bagged two nominations was listed alongside fellow Nigerians –Femi Kuti, Angelique Kidjo, Boy and Tems in the Best Global Music Performance category at The Grammys.

Wizkid also has his ‘Made In Lagos’ album nominated in the Best Global Music Album alongside other albums waxed by Femi and Made Kuti, Angelique Kidjo’s and Rocky Dawumi.
While reacting to the nomination, Femi Kuti wrote thus on Instagram; ”@madekuti and I want to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone that voted/ nominated #Legacy+.
“Congratulations to all the others nominees,” he added.
