Popular Hollywood actor cum stand up comedian Chris Rock has turned down the chance to return to the stage to host the forthcoming Golden Globes 2024 Awards.
Reports say that Chris Rock turned down the opportunity to host the 2024 Golden Globes Award along with Ali Wong and Smartless hosts Will Arnett, Sean Hayes, and Jason Bateman.
The four comedians have turned down the opportunity to head up the award ceremony in Hollywood on January 7 – and the institution has not yet released who will be hosting.

In September 2022, Chris Rock also turned down the chance to host the 80th edition of the 2023 Golden Globe Awards after he was slapped at the Oscar Award ceremony by Will Smith.
According to reports, the comedian turned down the opportunity at the time after he was approached by the Globes committee about hosting the 2023 awards.
Recall that Chris Rock was hit on the face by Will Smith after he made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s shaved head, saying, ‘Jada, I love you, G.I. Jane 2, can’t wait to see it!’
