Mavin Records head honcho Michael Collins Ajereh popularly known as Don Jazzy has revealed how he met sensational singer Wande Coal who has gone on to establish himself as one of Nigeria’s most talented R&B singers.

The veteran music executive and producer opened up on how he Wande Coal while speaking with prolific UK-based Nigerian broadcaster and ardent promoter of Afrobeat in the diaspora, Olajide Adesope.

According to him, he met Wande Coal while he was at a show at Unilag as he (Wande Coal) and his crew approached him saying they wanted to dance for Jazzy, who, at the time, was a big personality in the music industry.

Don Jazzy added that after dancing for him, the crew went on to state that they could sing too, and it was at that point that Don Jazzy said he realized the artistic brilliance of Wande Coal.
