Popular British singer Ed Sheraan has revealed what he will do if he is found guilty of ripping one of the songs of late singer Marvin Gaye titled ‘Let’s Get It On’.

The 32-year-old musician who appeared before a New York court told the federal jury that he’ll quit music if he is found guilty of ripping off Marvin Gaye’s ‘Let’s Get It On’.

The singer-songwriter who is accused of lifting a four-chord progression from the soul classic in his song ‘Thinking Out Loud’ also described the $100m trial as ‘insulting’.

‘If that happens, I’m done, I’m stopping,’ Sheeran said when asked by his attorney Ilene Farkas about the toll the trial is taking on him.

‘I find it really insulting to devote my whole life to being a performer and a songwriter and have someone diminish it,” the ‘Shape of You’ singer added.
