Troubled Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin has stated that he feels no guilt over the fatal shooting of Halyna Hutchins on the set of the movie ‘Rust’as he is ‘not responsible’ for her death.
The actor who opened up for his first primetime interview about the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, detailed the events on the set which lead up to Halyna and director Joel Souza being shot.
Alec said that he was “not responsible” for the tragedy and that has helped him through “the worst moment” of hid life.
The actor believed he was being handed a “cold gun:” during a marking rehearsal, in which Halyna took him through how and where she wanted him to hold the gun for the scene they were going to film.
Host George asked Alec: “You felt shock, you felt anger, you felt sadness. Do you feel guilt?’
Alec was forthright with his reply, saying: “No, no, I feel that there is… Someone is responsible for what happened and I can’t say who that is, but I know it’s not me.
“Honest to God, if I felt that I was responsible, I might have killed myself if I thought I was responsible. And I don’t say that lightly.”
