Former female housemate of the Big Brother Naija (BBN) reality TV show, Gifty Powers has taken to her official social media account to state that it is a shame to be called a Nigerian.
The reality TV star, who made the statement on her Instagram account, was reacting to the recent move by the United Arab Emirates to suspend Direct Employment Visa for Nigerians.
Reports say that the United Arab Emirates government made the move to suspend Direct Employment Visa for Nigerians as a result of the increasing rate of crimes involving Nigerians in the Middle-East country.

In her reaction to the development, Gifty Powers described Nigeria as a lawless country, and also expressed fear that other countries could subject Nigerians to the same treatment.
