Late rapper Coolio cremated, estate to be shared among his 7 adult children

Late American rapper Artis Leon Ivey Jr popularly known as Coolio has been cremated and plans are in place to have his ashes encased in jewelry for his children and other loved ones.

The was revealed by a representative of the late rapper who revealed to TMZ that Coolio was cremated in October after he was found unconscious on September 28 and then pronounced dead of a suspected cardiac arrest.

Recall that after the rapper’s death, his longtime girlfriend Mimi Ivey, who had been with him since 2012, exclusively told DailyMail.com that in accordance with Coolio’s own instructions, he would not be having a full funeral and would be cremated.

In a related development, the rapper’s seven adult children will divide the $300,000-plus estate he left in the wake of his passing at 59 because he does not have a will in place.

A report from The Blast reveals that the seven adult children have been listed as next of kin and probable beneficiaries in a probate filed by his one-time manager.
