S3XUAL ASSAULT CASE: R Kelly’s victim granted $4m compensation from singer’s purse

A victim in the ongoing s3xual assault case involving American singer Robert Kelly popularly known as R Kelly has been granted $4 million compensation from the singer’s purse.

The ruling was made on Monday by the Illinois Supreme Court granting the victim identified as Heather Williams, permission to be paid from the singer’s Sony Music royalty account.

The court granted the victim priority access to R. Kelly’s Sony Music royalty account, to pay the $4 million default judgment awarded to Williams from a civil suit filed in 2019.

Heather Williams had filed a civil suit in 2019 alleging that the singer coerced her into a s3xual relationship when she was 16 years old, promising that she could be in a music video and repeatedly had s3x with her while she was a minor.
