Sam Ashgari, the husband of popular American singer Britney Spears has reacted to claims making the rounds that he is ‘controlling’ his pop star wife.
The 28-year-old actor and model who has been wedded to Britney Spears since June hit back at suggestions he is controlling his wife, while also praising fans who have raised concerns about his wife as ‘just being protective
Ashgari laughed off the accusations when confronted while out and about in Los Angeles this week.

The US website TMZ asked him if he was controlling what his wife can and cannot do, to which he answered: “No, I don’t even control what we have for dinner.”
He added: “You know, in the past, there has been a lot of stuff going on, so I understand where [fans are] coming from,” explaining: “They’re just being protective. If anything, they’re being good fans”.
