The pair of Colombian singer Shakira and her former partner Gerard Pique have both reached an agreement over the custody of their two sons following their unexpected split.
Both Shakira and Gerard Pique released a joint statement on Tuesday November 8, following a marathon 12-hour meeting with their lawyers which ended in the early hours.
However, Shakira gained primary custody of her and Gerard Pique’s two children.

“We have signed a custody agreement,” Shakira, 45, and Pique, 35, who split earlier this year after 11 years together, said in a joint statement on Tuesday.
“Our sole objective is to provide our children with the utmost security and protection and hope that they can continue with their lives in a safe and calm environment.”
Reports suggest that Shakira intends to leave Barcelona, Spain, where she has lived for eight years, and relocate to Miami, Florida with her sons to be with her family.
