Ghanaian musician Charles Nii Armah popularly known in music circles as Shatta Wale has reacted after Nigerian singer Wizkid failed to show up for a concert in Accra, the capital of Ghana.
Recall that Wizkid was accused of breaching a concert contract in the former Gold Coast.
The ‘Joro’ crooner was supposed to perform at the Accra Sports Stadium on December 10, and scores of fans waited for about 12hours to see Wizkid perform but he didn’t show up.
The organisers of the event later issued a statement on Instagram apologising to fans for the inconveniences caused and also promised refunds to all who bought tickets.

Wizkid later noted on social media while apologising to fans who bought tickets for the concert that he could not attend the Accra concert due to security reasons.
Shatta Wale, however, affirmed in a post on social media that irrespective of what happened, the Nigerian Grammy-winning artiste is a household name in the world.
HE SAID; ”KUDOS TO WIZKID. HE IS A HOUSEHOLD NAME IN WORLD MUSIC. WHATEVER HAPPENED WAS FOR GOD TO DECIDE”.
