Talented American singer Ashanti Shequoiya Douglas popularly known in music circles as Ashanti has revealed how a music producer once demanded s3x in exchange for recordings.
The musician who was first discovered as a teenager and later signed to Murder INC label revealed this while speaking with hosts Charlamagne tha God, DJ Envy and Angela Yee during an appearance on the radio show, The Breakfast Club.
The 42-year-old singing sensation informed during the interview that she was in a ‘crazy situation with one producer,’ who worked with her on two records released years ago.

She said he asked her to ‘take a shower together,’ which she thought was a joke.
‘I thought he was joking,’ she explained, before he said he made it clear he was ‘dead serious’ or would expect her to pay him ‘$40,000 per track.
She continued: ‘Again, I thought he was joking because, you know, we had been working with each other, for like, I don’t know, a couple of weeks.’
