The Fugees set to storm Lagos for first World Tour in 25-years

Grammy-winning Hip-Hop and R&B group, The Fugees has announced its first international reunion tour to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their landmark 1996 album ‘The Score’.

The tour which will be produced by Live Nation will visit 12 locations, including Lagos, Nigeria – on an unannounced date, Ghana, on December 18, New York, California, Georgia, London, Paris and more.

The tour which was announced by the group on September 21, 2021, will bring its members including; Ms. Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean and Praz Michel together for the first time in 15 years.

It kicks off today 9-22-2021 with a pop-up show in New York at an undisclosed location.

“The Fugees have a complex but impactful history. I wasn’t even aware the 25th anniversary had arrived until someone brought it to my attention,” says Ms. Lauryn Hill, “I decided to honor this significant project, its anniversary, and the fans who appreciated the music by creating a peaceful platform where we could unite, perform the music we loved, and set an example of reconciliation for the world.”
