Timbaland, Swizz Beats sell live streaming music app ‘Verzuz’ for undisclosed fee

Popular American music producers, Timbaland and Swizz Beats have both decided to sell powerhouse live stream music series platform, Verzuz to Thriller for an undisclosed fee.

The development was announced in a statement on Wednesday by Thriller, which revealed that Swizz and Timbaland will become large shareholders in the Thriller Network and serve as brand visionaries on the Thriller Verzuz management.

The statement also revealed that Swizz Beatz and Timbaland who are co-founders of the streaming platform have also allocated a portion of their equity in the new combined company to all 43 performers who have appeared on Verzuz to date.

Artists that had appeared on Verzuz which was launched about a year ago include; John Legend, DMX, Alicia Keys, 2 Chainz, Rick Ross, Gucci Mane, Jeezy, Nelly, Ludacris, Brandy, Monica, Gladys Knight, D’Angelo, and more.
