Popular Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has taken to social media to accuse her ex-husband Olakunle Churchill of being a wife beater and an internet fraudster.
The thespian in a video posted on her Instagram page talked about the battery she suffered in the hands of her former husband and how she caught him one midnight doing Yahoo boy ritual.
She said that domestic violence is not always easy to walk away from and also recalled when she lost a pregnancy after Olakunle pushed her down a flight of three stairs.
“I lost a pregnancy. I was starting to suspect that he was a yahoo guy. One day, after I had come back from giving birth to my son abroad, I was in my room. There wasn’t supposed to be anyone else in the house. I heard a noise so I went to check upstairs in the penthouse which is my son’s father’s room. I opened the door and I saw a fully grown man, wearing a red cloth around his waist, red candles around him and holding a laptop. I was shocked.

’’When I lost my pregnancy, he pushed me down a flight of three stairs. People will say why did I fight and stay so long in the marriage? Domestic violence is not always easy to walk away from. And let’s not forget the fact that everyone said the marriage wouldn’t last, so how was I going to leave a marriage like that? I tried so hard to make it work.
’’The house where I left after ending the marriage is his mother’s house. That house has cameras everywhere. Why hasn’t Churchill revealed footage of what happened? Instead he is releasing a voice recording of when I was bleeding on the floor. I dare him to release the CCTV of that house. Churchill and his brother beat me up in front of their mother. I said a lot of bad things to his mother, which my dad had told me to apologize for. I apologized to her and she begged me not to leave her son.” The controversial actress said in part.
