Trinity Guy regains freedom five weeks after he was remanded for his extreme pranks

Talented Nigerian skit maker Maruf Abdullahi, popularly known in entertainment circles as Trinity Guy has finally regained his freedom after he was remanded for five weeks over his extreme pranks.

The release of Trinity Guy who was detained in the Agodi correctional center in Ibadan, Oyo State, following a court ruling was made known in a post on Instagram by another skit maker, Abdugalfar Abiola, better known as Cute Abiola.

According to Cute Abiola, his colleague who was arrested and detained over a video in which he was asking a female minor to describe his genitals has been released free on bail.

“@iamtrinityguy is finally free on Bail. I am wishing you all the best brother. May Almighty Allah keep guiding you to the right path. Amen Welcome back ! Welcome back ! My guy don pray tire see him forehead,” Cute Abiola wrote on his Instagram page.

Recall that Trinity Guy was detained in the Agodi correctional center in Ibadan, Oyo State after an Oyo state Family Court ordered that he  be remanded for allegedly s3xually exploiting a 10-year old girl.

The Magistrate, Mrs  P. O. Adetuyibi, on Tuesday, July 11, also ordered that the parents of the girl used in the video by Trinity Guy should also be remanded at the correctional centre.

Adetuyibi said that the parents of the girl identified as Isiaka Ahmed, 40, and Rofiat Ahmed, 29, alongside Trinity Guy, should continue to be remanded in Agodi till August 3, when the case comes up for further hearing but skit maker’s lawyer has secured his bail.

Trinity Guy is facing two count charges bothering on S3xual abuse and s3xual exploitation which violates Sections 516 of the Criminal code cap 38 of the Nigerian law.
