Upscale fashion label Twelve06- a dominant lifestyle brand created by Nigerian super model, Gabby Ibeabuchi, a foremost entrepreneur, has unveiled brand new apparels.

The fresh new apparels by Twelve06, which specialises in bespoke menswear alongside exceptional ready to wear designs for men and women, are sure to be a delight among fashion enthusiasts.

Ibeabuchi who revealed this to NBG on the sidelines of the networking event hosted for fashion designers by the United States Consulate General in Lagos, stated that the Twelve06 brand is also known for their stylish approach to traditional Nigerian and African wears.

According to him, Twelve06 is poised to revolutionise and showcase African fashion to the world in stylish contemporary designs.

“Our designs are appreciated globally by fashion enthusiasts who crave for excellence,” Ibeabuchi added.

Ibeabuchi is also one of the 20 lucky emerging and mid-career Nigerian fashion designers who recently participated in the prestigious U.S. State Department’s International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP).

 

About the designer:

Gabby Ibeabuchi is a fashion designer and tailor. This multi talented passion driven connoisseur is the founder and creative director of fashion brand, TWELVE06, who specialise in bespoke menswear alongside ready to wear for men and women.

He started as a model representing prominent international brands such as MTN, Gulder, Dangote, Unilever, and Huawei etc. Gabby is considered one of the most successful fashion models in Africa. He has over a hundred fashion shows to his credit locally and internationally. He emerged ECOWAS best model in the first ever ECOFEST competition.

He took his first corporate Job in Globacom, a foremost telecommunication giant. He worked in special projects, corporate communications and customer service departments. Years later he worked under Tony Elumelu in the corporate bank department, United Bank for Africa.

While in the corporate world he never ceased to make clothes. Over the years he found more fulfilment in making clothes and eventually resigned choosing ultimately, to pursue his love for fashion full-time.
