American rapper Bia has apologised to Nigerians after she claimed she doesn’t know Nigerian superstars, Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy, during an Instagram Live Session with Nicki Minaj.
The rapper had been asked during Nicki Minaj’s Instagram Live Session the options of the International super acts and the rapper claimed she doesn’t know any of the three superstars.
In her reply, Bia stated that she does not know what Afrobeats giants Wizkid, Burna Boy and Davido look like after Nicki mentioned their names in the conversation on Instagram.
In the video, Nicki said she ought to have prepped her before asking her the questions as Bia apologized for not knowing any of the singers.
After seeing her comments on Instagram, Nigerians took to Twitter to bash the rapper for claiming she doesn’t know any of the artistes as many of the critics say they don’t know either.
The backlash has forced the rapper to tender an apology on Twitter, claiming that she only said she doesn’t know what the Afrobeat poster boys look like, not that she doesn’t know their music.
