Popular American musician cum actor Will Smith is set to return to acting after he infamously slapped comedian Chris Rock during the last 2022 Oscar Awards.

Reports say that the ‘Fresh Prince of Bel Air’ star is set to star in Apple TV+’s new 2023 movie, Emancipation, six months after landing Chris Rock a slap on his cheeks.

All filming for the role was completed before the incident took place at the Oscars, so Smith hasn’t been involved with any filming in the last six months.
