Popular Nigerian singer Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun better known in music circles as Wizkid has equaled the record set on the Billboard music chart by late Afrobeat musician Fela Anikulapo Kuti.

The Afrobeat legend and activist who created the ‘Afrobeat’ genre had a staggering forty-five weeks run (the most weeks by any musician) on the Billboard World chart with his ‘The Best Of The Black President’ album, a compilation album released in 1999.
