The pair of talented Nigerian singers Ayodeji Balogun better known in music circles as Wizkid and his compatriot, Temilade Openiyi popularly known as Tems have both bagged the Best Collaboration category at the just concluded 2021 Soul Train music awards.
The Grammy-winning Nigerian superstar, Wizkid and his collaborator Tems both won the category on November 28, 2021, for their song ‘Essence’ which was named Song of Summer by veteran OAP, Ebro Darden.

Wizkid and Tems brushed aside stiff competition from Chris Brown, Doja Cat, H.E.R, Jasmine Sullivan and Yung Bleu featuring Drake to clinch the Best Collaboration category.
