Veteran Yoruba actor Olaiya Igwe has apologised to Nigerians after he stripped himself naked at a beach to campaign for Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
Recall that the actor was slammed by scores of Nigerians on social media after he went stark naked in a campaign video for Bola Ahmed Tinubu, before the last general elections.
In the video reminiscent of a Yoruba movie, Olaiya Igwe who said Tinubu once saved his life without knowing him, invoked the river god amid thunder and lightning effects.

However, the actor has now apologised to Nigerians saying he went naked to campaign for Tinubu during the elections because he was there for him when he was ill.
