Actor Yomi Fabiyi to produce movie on Baba Ijesha’s alleged rape saga

Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has given the biggest hint yet that he is working on a movie titled ‘Oko Iyabo’ chronicling the travails of embattled actor, Olanrewaju James, popularly known as Baba Ijesha who has been accused of molesting a 14-year-old girl.

The hint was made known in a post on Twitter last month by the actor who while reacting to the bail recently granted to Baba Ijesha said that there can never be true JUSTICE if human rights of suspects, complainant is violated by concerned authorities.

“The Movie “OKO IYABO” location loading. A lovely story & concept. We are gettng ready. Una don watch OKO RAMOTA & u enjoyed it, get ready for OKO IYABO,” Fabiyi posted on Twitter.

Reports say that the movie produced by Yomi Fabiyi and directed by Dele Matti will also feature other Yoruba veteran acts including Hassan Ogogo, Adewale Elesho, Toyin Afolayan, Baba Olafaina, Akeem Alimi and many others.

Recall that Baba Ijesha was granted bail on May 17, on health grounds by a magistrate set up at the State Criminal Investigation Department SCID Panti to review some cases in a bid to decongest the police facility.
