The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has reacted to a viral video of a Pastor cursing actors for visiting former Governor of Lagos State and presidential aspirant, Bola Tinubu.

The Union in a press statement signed by the Union’s National Taskforce chairman, High Chief McSmith Ochendo, said that actors who visited Bola Tinubu do not represent AGN but they are at liberty to endorse whoever they deem fit to occupy the highest position in the land.

In the video, Apostle Kassy Chukwu criticised those promoting Bola Tinubu as the next President of Nigeria and also called out actors for visiting him when they should be fighting for the good of the common man and digging to know who “killed protesters at Lekki toll gate in 2020”. The cleric also said the endorsement will “k!ll” the actors.

Apostle Kassy further stated that he would leave Nigeria if Tinubu clinches the 2023 presidency.

Reacting to this, the AGN in the statement added that those that visited the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Leader do not represent the guild, but added that they are at liberty to do so.

The AGN described the Pastor’s claim as libelous and further asked the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) to call the “nescience Pastor and his luciferous preaching” to order.
