Actor Yomi Fabiyi has again added his voive to the rape allegation leveled against troubled Yoruba actor Olarenwaju James popularly known as Baba Ijesha who has been accused of molesting a 14-year-old girl seven years ago and recently.
The thespian who was reacting to the CCTV footage which showed actor Baba Ijesha molesting comedian Princess’ 14-year-old daughter in her home in Lagos, condemned the act of recording the minor being molested.
According to him, “if the girl was your child, can you make her go through such trauma again in the name of gathering evidence?”
While condemning the act of molestation, Yomi Fabiyi also called for the arrest and prosecution of all those connected to video except the victim.
The thespian said the arrest should be done for “humanity and for every innocent child”.
He said that setting someone up is a criminal offence, and those behind it will spend more time in prison than Baba Ijesha because a minor is involved.
The actor also called on the Lagos Commissioner of Police to “balance” because embassies and organizations are watching.
