Popular on air personality Toolz Oniru has taken a swipe at Yoruba actor Yomi Fabiyi for daring to support embattled thespian Olanrewaju Omiyinka, aka Baba Ijesha, who has been accused of molesting a 14-year-old minor.
Recall that Yomi Fabiyi had on Tuesday threatened to lead a protest over the continued detention of Ijesha while also demanding the immediate release of Baba Ijesha from detention before Wednesday, May 12th, 2021 following which he will mobilise Nigerians for a protest.
According to him, the detention of the actor without trial is a violation of his human rights and ‘illegal’.
In her reaction to the comments made by Yomi Fabiyi, Toolz described Yomi Fabiyi’s plan to stage a protest over the continuous detention of actor, Baba Ijesha, as the lowest level of clout chasing.
While reacting to Yomi Fabiyi’s comments, Toolz wrote thus; ”So this Yomi Fabiyi fellow wants people to protest in support of a paedophile? Just when I thought I had seen it all in Nigeria! I imagine he’s doing this for attention, but this is the lowest level EVER for clout chasing…or maybe he’s defending someone he has a lot in common with”
