Popular American rapper Cardi B has reacted to the three-month jail sentence slammed on Ghanaian actress, Rosemond Brown, better known as Akuapem Poloo, for posing nude in front of her underaged son.

The rapper who infamously described as her “twin sister” during her visit to Ghana in 2019, took to her official Twitter account to react to the court ruling that Akuapem Poloo should not have been imprisoned.

According to Cardi B, social media probation or community service would have been a better option adding that she has seen similar photoshoots posted on social media in the United States of America.

“I’ve seen a lot of Americans do photoshoots like that. Even though this is not my style I don’t think she was going for sexual more going the natural idea. I think jail is a bit harsh. Maybe social media probation or community service,” Cardi B posted on Twitter.

Akuapem Poloo was found guilty by a Circuit Court sitting in Accra, Ghana of the publication of obscene material on social media and domestic violence.

She was sentenced by the court for her Instagram post where she went naked while posing with her seven-year-old son in June, 2020.

Reports say the sultry actress pleaded for mercy, to no avail during court proceedings last Friday.
