Popular Nigerian singer Asake has taken to his official social media account to mourn a lady who died from injuries she sustained during a stampede at the singer’s London concert last Thursday.

Reports say that the 33-year-old mother of two identified as Rebecca Ikumelo died in hospital on Saturday morning, December 17, after being critically injured in the stampede at Brixton O2 Academy on Thursday, December 15.

Asake has now reacted to the passing of a 33-year-old Nigerian lady, In a post shared on social media, stating that he was devastated by her passing.

The ‘Terminator’ crooner also expressed his sincere condolences to her loved ones and asked everyone to keep her family in their prayers.

“I am devastated by the news that Rebecca Ikumelo, who was in a critical condition since Thursday, has sadly passed away. My sincerest condolences to her loved ones at this time. Let us please keep her family in our prayers. I have spoken to them and will continue to do so.

‘‘I am overwhelmed with grief and could never have imagined anything like this happening.” He wrote.
