Mabel Makun, the better half of stand-up comedian, AY has taken a swipe at the Department of Security Service (DSS) for refusing to act on a crime involving their family which she described as “life-threatening”.
The mother of one who took to her official Instagram page to spill her guts in a post on Friday, April 23, 2021, expressed her frustration at the way and manner the security agency has handled the issue.
According to her, the DSS has for the last 6 months refused to attend to the petition, and despite hating to take private issues to the public, she’s going on Instagram to talk about it.
In her post, Mabel said that the action of the DSS left her depressed for months; “So for months, I experienced the full meaning of depression,”
She wrote, adding; “Till date, there are days that I still hide and cry my eyes out. Only those very close to me can tell exactly what I went through trying to gain my sanity back. ”
“Should I start posting video evidence of this criminal act before actions will be taken against all the parties involved? Or should we continue to be quiet while innocent citizens die every day in this country? I need everyone’s opinion please. @dssnigeria.”
